The long view on risk
A short educational note about why time horizon, diversification, and uncertainty matter more than a single market moment.
Investing is not a shortcut. A longer time horizon can give an investor more room to live through market fluctuations, but it does not remove the possibility of loss. The right question is not “what will win next?” but “what risks am I able and willing to carry?”
Diversification is one way to avoid making one company, sector, or idea responsible for an entire outcome. It cannot guarantee a profit, and it cannot prevent every loss. It is a way to make the shape of uncertainty more deliberate.
